MEDIA INFORMATION FOR PREP CLASSIC FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Requesting Passes: Credentials will be issued for working media only. We will issue different passes for Friday and Saturday. Please submit the LHSAA Media Credential Request Form by fax or mail. You will be notified if your request is not approved. Please FAX if sending after December 1 to ensure timely receipt.

Pass Pick-Up: Passes will not be mailed. They can be picked-up at the Superdome only. Only individuals listed on approved request form can pick-up pass.  Must present press ID and photo ID. We will not allow individuals to pick-up passes for anyone else.

  • Early Pass Pick-Up at Gate A Ground: Thurs, Dec. 6 from 3-5pm and Friday, Dec. 7 from 12-3pm
  • NW Press Tunnel - Friday, Dec. 7 Opens at 3:00 pm and Sat, Dec. 8 opens at 11:00 am
Approval Criteria: Credential requests will be limited to members of the electronic and print media who are members in good standing with their respective state associations.  Due to space limitations it will be necessary to provide for media personnel in the following order in the press box:
      1. Working members of daily newspapers, the national wire service and television stations.
      2. Working members of news media with area teams participating in a game.
      3. Working members of weekly and bi-weekly newspapers.

NOTE: Radio stations/Internet affiliations not broadcasting a game will be limited to 1 PASS.

Resources:  Pass allows you access to field and press box.  Programs/rosters will be provided. A hospitality room is available in the press box area, and meal tickets are included with pass. WiFi is available in the press box for working media. A limited number of parking passes are available, please contact Erin Coogan to request.
Broadcast Information: The radio broadcast fee per game is $550.  If station agrees to do LHSAA sponsor spots, the fee will be reduced to $500.  The internet broadcast fee per game is $550 and an additional $50 fee per game if still photos will be used. Television rights are negotiable.  Any stations wishing to broadcast should contact LHSAA Marketing Director Mitch Small at 225.925.0100.
