LHSAA Executive Director Mutually Agrees to Step Down

Baton Rouge, LA (October 23, 2014)  -- The LHSAA Executive Committee and its Executive Director, Kenny Henderson, have mutually agreed that it is in the best interest of the association and Mr. Henderson to sever their relationship, effective October 24, 2014.  The Executive Committee wishes to express its appreciation to Mr. Henderson for his dedicated service over the last seven years, the improvements made during his term as Executive Director, and his efforts in meeting the many challenges which have been faced by the LHSAA during that period. Gill Athletics Announced as NFHS Corporate Partner

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 1, 2014) — Gill Athletics, the oldest and largest manufacturer of track and field equipment in the United States and around the world, has entered into a three-year agreement with the National Federation of State High School Associations as an NFHS Corporate Partner. I’m sure we all can remember a time in our lives when the best part about the school day was recess – it was a time for running, jumping, playing on the playground and just being active with our friends!
