Pending weather situation for Boys Golf

Posted: 04-16-2016 | Categories: Golf - Boys, Administrators

Attention boys’ golf coaches:

Due to unfavorable weather forecasted for many parts of Louisiana next week and the various district tournaments that could be affected, we are reminding tournament hosts and all teams, it is imperative that we have determined the top four teams and top four additional medalist by week’s end in order to place at the regional sites set to begin the following week of Monday, May 25. If your district tournament is rain delayed, please make every effort to play at the next available date and consider other options, if necessary, such as moving to an alternative course or perhaps a nine-hole event as a last option.

Make sure the HOST SCHOOL’s coach/tournament director notifies the LHSAA if there are rain delays causing play to be moved to a different day and/or different course. Complete results identifying winners, advancing teams and individuals should be emailed ASAP to  . The Regional Golf Entry Forms deadline of Thursday, April 21, will be adjusted if district tournaments are backed up past that date.

Once your district tournament is completed, teams and schools with individual golfers advancing to regionals MUST submit the regional entry form found in the Boys’ golf bulletin accompanied by a school check, $10 per player up to a maximum of $50 ASAP!

Your cooperation and prompt attention to these potential situations are greatly appreciated.

Best of luck!
