Overview

Alt & Title Text

The LHSAA strives to provide quality programs for its largest and most active group of constituents: the student-athlete. Below are brief overviews of programs available to individual student-athletes and schools seeking leadership training, funds for local endeavors, scholarship opportunities, and more!

FREE RECRUITING WEBINAR
SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS
ALL-ACADEMIC ALL-STATE PROGRAM
LHSCA ALL-STARS

LSWA ALL-STATE & ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS GUIDELINES

Parents can be the most influential and positive support group for young athletes as they grow and develop. The above resources will help students get the most out of their interscholastic athletic experiences. We encourage you to work closely with local school administrators to take full advantage of the benefits offered through school sports.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Annually the LHSAA extends the opportunity for student-athletes in member schools to participate as part of the LHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The LHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee provides an opportunity for a select group of sixteen (16) students, who participate in interscholastic athletics to act as liaisons for state-wide student initiatives and discussions. The Committee’s primary focus will be to improve student involvement in multi-level platforms that positively impact our member schools and the Association. This committee will engage Louisiana students with leadership and sportsmanship initiatives as well as offer suggestions from a student-athletes perspective on decisions regarding LHSAA programs.
